Cats

Percentage Coverage Plan
The Percentage Coverage Plan offers an annual maximum limit instead of a limit per incident. With this plan, you can select a percentage between 70% and 90% that PawsCare will cover for your Cat's medical expenses.
For instance, if you choose the 70% Coverage plan and your Cat has a veterinary bill of K1,000.00, PawsCare will cover K700.00, and the remaining K300.00 will be the responsibility of the pet owner.
What's Covered
Accidents
PawsCare Insurance provides coverage for accidents that result in injuries or medical treatments for your cat.
Illness
PawsCare Insurance covers the costs of veterinary care and treatments for various illnesses that your Cat may experience.
Hospitalization
If your Cat requires hospitalization due to an accident or illness, PawsCare Insurance will cover the associated costs.
Surgeries
PawsCare Insurance covers surgical procedures that are necessary for treating your pet's injuries or illnesses.
X-rays
The costs of X-rays, which are often required for diagnosing your cat's health conditions, are covered by PawsCare Insurance.
Ultrasound
PawsCare Insurance includes coverage for ultrasound procedures that may be needed for diagnostic purposes.
Medications
PawsCare Insurance covers the costs of prescribed medications to treat your cat's injuries or illnesses.
What's Not Covered
Pre-existing Conditions
Any illness or condition that develops or redevelops prior to the pet policy effective date or during the waiting periods is not covered.
Elective and Preventative Care
Any treatment that you would normally expect to pay for, such as vaccinations, flea treatment, and grooming, is not covered.
Non-Veterinary Expenses
This includes food, special diets, vitamins, supplements, and any non-veterinary services.
Herbal, Holistic, Experimental Therapies
All of these alternative therapies and medications are not covered.
Death of your Cat
Pawscare Pet Health Insurance does not provide compensation if your pet dies.
Dental Care
Any condition or treatment arising from dental or gum disease is not covered.
Hip and Elbow Dysplasia
Hip and Elbow Dysplasia are not covered under this policy.
Euthanasia and Burial
The cost of euthanasia, cremation, and burial is not covered by Pawscare Pet Health Insurance.
Third Party Liability
Pawscare Pet Health Insurance does not cover third-party liability caused by your pet, such as property damage or fines.
